A summer ocean adventure awaits!

Explore the Pacific Ocean and its inhabitants during our week-long summer day camp adventures.

Campers will get the chance to go behind the scenes, meet animal care staff, and help us take care of some of the animals. Each Ocean Adventure Camp week is a different program.

Ages: Grades 2-4. MUST be at least 7 years old due to behind the scenes access.
Offered: July 8-12 and August 19-23, 2013 Time:
Full Day: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 pm. Monday-Friday
Half Day: 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. OR 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

Week 1 will cover the following topics (subject to change without notice):

Morning Highlights include:

• Create a unique penguin craft with beads and pins.
• Take a look inside a real squid.
• Learn what it takes to train animals in a fun training game.
• Learn about sharks amazing senses through an interactive game.
• See bioluminescent animals glow in the dark.
• Help animal care staff feed sharks.*
• Animal touch time in our private classroom touch pools.

Afternoon Highlights include:

• Go behind the scenes to feed sea jellies.*
• Discover how fast kelp grows in a Krazy Kelp Game.
• Watch baby sharks eat.*
• Join the Fish Bureau of Investigation in search of the missing Agent Sculpin!
• Build a polar bear den to hang out in.
• Create an interactive fish flip book.
• Animal touch time in our private classroom touch pools.

Not Included:

• Snacks (Parents, please provide 1 snack for your child for ½ day and 2 snacks for full day)
• Lunch (Parents, please provide a lunch for full day)

Note: Due to behind-the-scenes access and game time, we ask that your child wear comfortable closed-toe shoes everyday. Please avoid sandals and flip-flops.
