NOAA Day Teacher Workshop

Real-time data and Marine Science Resources

A Closer Look at our Changing Coast

Join us for the Aquarium’s annual NOAA Day and participate in a teacher workshop specifically designed to bring current science and data into your science curriculum.

Learn about NOAA’s educational resources, the science of climate change, sea level rise and other current ocean topics, as well as ways to use of real-life examples, technology, citizen science, and social media with students. Co-led by Linda Chilton, Education Program Coordinator with USC SeaGrant, this workshop will be an informative and engaging morning of science and stewardship that introduces resources for future exploration. Participants are welcome to explore the Aquarium and NOAA Day event after the workshop concludes.
