How Will Climate Change Affect Their Frequency, Intensity, and Impact?
In this informal course we will explore with experts the nature of extreme climate-related events, their drivers, their history and prognosis for the future, how climate change may affect their frequency, intensity, and impact, and what can be done to reduce their impacts on society. The emphasis will be on Southern California.
The classes will take place on four-consecutive Thursday evenings beginning on April 19 and can be taken for continuing education units (CEU).
