Saving Our Seafood

This talk will be the first in an ongoing series hosted by Los Angeles Times Food Editor Russ Parsons called The Future of Food. The Aquarium will be open so attendees can view the exhibits before and after the lecture.

Paul Greenberg will discuss and sign copies of his books, Four Fish: The Future of the Last Wild Food and American Catch: The Fight for Our Local Seafood. While the U.S. controls more ocean than any other country, 85 percent of the seafood Americans eat is imported. Greenberg will discuss ways to reestablish sustainable local fisheries and connect them with consumers.
