Experience the acoustic capabilities of the Aquarium’s Great Hall like never before when the Long Beach Chorale presents its summer concert at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Featuring sixty voices and accompanied by projected images and video, the Chorale will perform a program of ocean and marine life-themed music with the Aquarium’s Honda Blue Cavern exhibit as the backdrop. Musical genres range from classical to Disney and even sea chanteys.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase before and after the concert, and attendees will be able to view the Aquarium’s exhibits. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
The Long Beach Chorale, celebrating its twenty-fifth concert season, is led by Artistic Director Eliza Rubenstein and Assistant Director/Pianist Beth Syverson. Founded in 1988, the Long Beach Chorale and Chamber Orchestra has earned its reputation as Long Beach’s leading volunteer choral ensemble through its energetic and artful performances of a wide variety of repertoire. The Long Beach Chorale is equally at home singing the classics of Western music and the musical gems of cultures around the world.
