Water year 2012 was dry. What will 2013 bring? Drought has been a recurring feature of California’s water landscape and is a likely long-term outcome of future climate change. In her lecture, Jeanine Jones will cover how the state has coped with drought in the past and what challenges the future may bring. Present capabilities for drought prediction will also be covered.
Jones is the interstate resources manager for the California Department of Water Management.
