Christy Wilhelmi will discuss how to maximize the yield from a small home vegetable garden. She specializes in small-space, organic vegetable garden design, classes and consulting. Seventy to 80 percent of her family’s produce comes from her garden of less than 200 square feet.
Wilhelmi is the author of Gardening for Geeks and founder of Gardenerd.com, the ultimate resource for garden nerds. Her writing has appeared in From Scratch Magazine, Edible Los Angeles and Edible Westside magazines, LowImpactLiving.com, and the Mar Vista Farmers’ Market Wrap-Up for Patch.com. She has appeared on the Emmy-nominated Home and Family Show, KCAL 9 News, and Good Food with Evan Kleiman.
