Scholarships
The primary intent of the school scholarship program is to minimize the financial barrier and enable schools with few or no resources to visit the Aquarium and benefit from our educational programs. Support is contingent upon the availability of funds and the level of need. Free self guided tours, free classroom programs, or free Aquarium on Wheels visits are available to students from Title I schools and to community groups serving at risk or low-income youth.

The Aquarium Scholarship Fund is supported solely through the donations of generous foundations, corporations, and individuals. To donate to the Aquarium Scholarship Fund, please contact Development at (562) 951-1605 or here. Donors may also designate specific schools that they want to sponsor, in which case we will work with the school administration office to book the visit(s). We are grateful to the donors who have made the scholarship fund possible and we are working hard to raise continued support.
