Winter Day Camp

Explore Marine Life and Habitats

In this 3 day winter camp, participants will explore marine life and habitats through games, activities, tours, behind the scenes interactions, crafts, animal touch time, and more.

Participants will note their experiences throughout the week in a keepsake journal.

  • Extended Childcare Options: 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and/or 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Extended Childcare Cost: $5 per hour or any portion thereof

This Winter Camp will explore the following topics:
(subject to change without notice)

  • First Day: Migrations
  • Second Day: Cold water habitats
  • Third Day: Polar bears

Camp includes the following:

  • Aquarium animal viewing
  • Animal touch
  • Activities and/or experiments related to the topic
  • Bio-fact discovery touch
  • Behind-the-scenes animal observation
  • Games
  • Winter Camp Journal
  • Daily Craft

Not included:

  • Snacks (Parents please provide a snack for your child each day.)
  • Lunch (Parents please provide a snack for your child each day.)

Extended Childcare Activities:

$125 per Aquarium member
Ages: Grades 2-4. MUST be at least 7 years old due to behind the scenes access.
