Saturday Family Fun: Sea Jellies and Other Incredible Invertebrates

Sea Jellies and Other Incredible Invertebrates
What do sea jellies, octopuses, and sea stars have in common? There are no bones about them! Learn that while these animals may lack bones, they have all kinds of adaptations!  Students will learn how the sea jelly survives and what animals make a tasty snack out of them. Since we cannot touch these stinging animals, we touch and learn about some other amazing invertebrates.

These programs are developed for four to six year olds with a parent or chaperone. Because this class is specifically designed for four to six year olds, any younger or older siblings of the child should stay at home and cannot be admitted to the class. These programs allow students to delve into the ocean world through interactive, hands on programming. Child/adult interaction is encouraged in the class, aiding in the student’s discovery while fostering parent child relationships.
