Aquarium of the Pacific

Wacky Water World
This program focuses on the substance that covers 70% of the earth’s surface- water. Students will become a water drop as they act out the water cycle then enjoy a magic show displaying the marvels of water, learning about density- what sinks and what floats. Participants will explore the Northern Pacific Gallery and touch live animals. To remind students of what they learned, they can take home a wave machine they made themselves.

Preschool Programs are designed for young children to independently explore marine life. Each class offers hands-on animal touch time, a craft project, story time, Aquarium animal observation, a snack, and activities relating to the topic.
