Preschool Program: Pool Party

Pool Party
Dive into the world of tide pools in this class. Students will act out the daily life of some tide pool animals before going to the Southern California Gallery to see and touch live animals. Participants will learn that life’s not always a party for the animals that call the tide pool home, sometimes things get rough for these creatures. Students will make their own tide pool creature- a crab- to take home.

Preschool Programs are designed for young children to independently explore marine life. Each class offers hands-on animal touch time, a craft project, story time, Aquarium animal observation, a snack, and activities relating to the topic.
