Aquarium Education Program
Ocean Experience
This 90-minute excursion brings guests on a marine science adventure through the Long Beach Harbor. Guests are welcome to join us as we examine samples of mud and plankton collected from our harbor or to just relax and enjoy the adventure. In addition, we will ID local fish and be on the look out for marine mammals taking refuge within the breakwater. This experience gives guests a peak into the life of an oceanographer as well as an appreciation for the life located in the Long Beach Harbor.
Upon Arrival: Meet 15 minutes prior to departure at the OCEAN EXPERIENCE “Meet Here” sign next to the fountain. An educator or volunteer will greet you and escort you to the Conqueror.
