Aquarium Education Program

Junior Biologist Program: Marine Mammals (Ages 7-10)

Marine Mammals
Learn the characteristics of mammals and find out what makes marine mammals so special.  From layers of blubber to filter feeding baleen we will explore the amazing adaptations marine mammals use to survive in the ocean.  Learn how marine biologists work with marine mammals at the Aquarium.

Junior Biologist participants will independently investigate marine life during this exploratory program. This class offers hands-on animal touch time, Aquarium animal observation, and activities relating to each topic. Select the topic that is most interesting, or take all the classes to learn about the variety of animals found at the Aquarium.
