Aquarium of the Pacific

The Aquarium is proud to offer a series of programs designed for youth groups such as scout and brownie troops.

Each 2-hour program includes theme related activities, a guided tour, and animal touch time. Upon completion, Aquarium patches are available for participants for just $1.

Crafty Creatures:

Ideal for six- to eight-year-olds, Crafty Creatures takes a closer look at the unique adaptations some of the most popular ocean animals have. During this 2-hour program, your group will:

• Learn what an adaptation is
• Discover the many unique adaptations of puffins, sea stars, octopuses, and sea turtles through hands-on activities and games
• Touch animals in our private classroom touch pools
• Take a guided tour of the Northern Pacific gallery
• Create their very own crafty creature to take home

Availability: Pre-registration is required and the classes are available Saturdays from 1:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m.
