Aquarium Education Program
Career Explorers
Do you want to be a marine biologist? Then this is the program for you! In this class we will get an inside look into some of the fascinating careers in marine science. Join us as we tour behind the scenes to observe the work the marine scientists do here at the Aquarium of the Pacific. How do we take care of the fish? How do we clean their tanks? How do we educate the people about marine conservation? Find out in this exciting class!
These classes are developed for youth groups such as scouts and brownie troops. You can choose from 3 classes that cover different animals and regions of the aquarium. The classes are age specific covering students from the ages of 6 to 11 years old. These programs are structured classes and introduce marine life themes through interactive activities and animal observations. Using games, crafts and tours of exhibits, the three subjects come alive in aquarium classrooms.
