Discover an ocean of fun with your fellow scouts!

Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts are invited to complete steps toward their badges with self-led activity sheets that are specifically designed for scouts. Learn how you can be involved in conserving ocean habitats and make a difference in your community.

Scouts, family, and friends, please join us for this special event highlighting environmental stewardship. This self-guided event has optional activity sheets for scouts, along with parent guides, to work toward stewardship-related scout badges. Please check out our free downloadable activity sheets below. Guest organizations will also feature booths on ways scout groups can be involved in conserving our local ecosystems. Participants are not required to stay for the entire event in order to join in on the fun.

A limited-edition 2013 penguin-themed Aquarium of the Pacific fun-badge will be available for sale in our gift shops. Scouting families will also receive 10% off gift shop purchases with the coupon on the activity guide the day of the event. Please note, the Aquarium does not provide official scout patches.

Troop-leaders or parents are expected to facilitate the scouts learning experience and guide them through the steps to work towards badge requirements. Some steps cannot be completed at this event and need to be completed at home. Troop leaders and parents, it is advised to review the scout council approved activities for each badge your child wishes to complete prior to this event.
