One of the Aquarium of the Pacific’s top ten ocean issues highlighted in its Tenth Anniversary Year theme of “Ocean on the Edge” involves the dying off, or bleaching, of the world’s coral reefs. Here’s a look at what is happening and some of the things we can do to help slow or even reverse the problem.

A special focus for our tenth anniversary
As we embark on our 10th year as the Aquarium of the Pacific, we are looking at the world ocean and the problems it faces as global climate change continues to be exacerbated by human behavior. If we reduce, reuse, recycle, and rethink how we live our daily lives, we can make a difference and help save our planet!
