Well, that festive time of year is once again upon us! This time of year is always full of all kinds of celebration and fun, and the holiday season at the Aquarium is no exception. Decorations recently started popping up everywhere, and not just for us humans. Even the animals are getting in on the act!

The internationally renowned Charlie the otter, Brook the light-saber wielding otter, and Summer the whiny otter— our famous otters.
The real magic first appeared near the end of my seventh year as a volunteer diver at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Magic came in the form of a child, an adorable four year old called Michelangelo.

The reticulate whiptail ray in Shark Lagoon indulges in the best food daily. To keep her from getting fat, her portions are controlled but that does not stop her from trying to eat her roommates’ leftovers.
