As we conclude the first month of 2014, we can truly say that it has been a fantastic month of whale watching! January has been the peak month where many of the southbound whales have been sighted. As mentioned in earlier blogs, we have had record breaking numbers of southbound sightings!

Some enrichments are so intriguing, everyone wants to use them. I built a feeding enrichment full of worms for some of the foraging shorebirds. It brought in not just the shorebirds, but even the ducks… though they were a little late to the party. And you know what they say: “the early bird gets the worm.”
