10 Daily Prizes Rules and Regulations

From 9:00 A.M. Pacific Standard Time on Friday, June 13, 2008, through 6:00 P.M. Pacific Standard Time on Sunday, May 31, 2009 (excluding December 25, 2008 and April 17-19, 2009 when the Aquarium will be closed), the Aquarium of the Pacific will give away at random 10 prizes daily to guests as they enter the Aquarium of the Pacific through the main public entrance or member entrance or appear that the front entrance and request an opportunity to win a daily price. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO BE CONSIDERED IN THE GIVEAWAYS. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Employees, volunteers, and board members of the Aquarium of the Pacific or the prize sponsors, their respective employees, parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their family/household members are not eligible. Prizes awarded daily vary. There will be one Grand Prize given each week. Odds of winning depend on the number of visitors to the Aquarium of the Pacific.

Prizes include vouchers for two on JetBlue Airways to specific cities featured each month, tickets for two to the Queen Mary, tickets for two to the Museum of Latin American Art (MoLAA), family pass for four to the Long Beach Museum of Art, tickets for two to a Harbor Cruise by Harbor Breeze Cruises, return tickets to the Aquarium for everyone in the winner’s party present as they entered the Aquarium (tickets cannot be credited to that day’s entry and must be used on another visit), 10th anniversary commemorative calendar, $25 in gift certificates to Chick-Fil-A, Long Beach Towne Center, $25 gift certificates to the Belmont Shore Business Association and Stroll & Savor tickets for two, $25 gift certificates to the Long Beach Towne Center, $25 gift certificates to Shoreline Village, $25 gift certificates to The Yard House, $25 gift certificates to All American Melodrama Theater, tickets for two on Spirit Cruises, $25 gift certificate to Parker’s Lighthouse, $25 gift certificate to Tequila Jack’s, and tickets for two Rainbow Rocket, free one hour rentals on Wheel Fun Ride in Shoreline Village, $25 gift certificates to Ten Salon & Spa, tickets for two to the Long Beach Marriot Champagne Brunch, $25 gift certificates to Buono’s Pizza, Long Beach, certificate for an overnight stay at Guesthouse Long Beach. Additional prizes may be awarded.

All prizes will be awarded and presented on entry to the Aquarium or inquiry at the front entrance. Winner must sign their name and provide their zip code to verify that they received the prize. All prizes have individual expirations and restrictions. All prizes must be redeemed at business locations indicated on the winning tickets or certificate. The Aquarium makes no warranty of services and is not responsible for disputes or service issues. Sponsors and Aquarium are not responsible for lost or mutilated prizes and none will be replaced. Prize is nontransferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by the Aquarium of the Pacific. All taxes, fees, gratuities, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of winner. Limit one entry per person per day.

All winners and entrants release the Aquarium of the Pacific, their affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees and agents, and all others associated with the development and execution of this contest, from any and all liability from injury, loss or damage of any kind, including death, and property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, resulting from participation in this promotion or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
